The Problem

There were plenty of great Google Cloud podcasts — but they were scattered across platforms, hard to navigate, and even harder to discover. Without a central hub, internal teams struggled to find content relevant to their interests or roles. What should’ve been an engaging resource felt disconnected and overwhelming.

The Challenge

The goal was to simplify discovery, improve content organization, and create a cohesive experience that reflects Google Cloud’s brand identity. We needed to bring structure to scattered content while ensuring the visual design felt modern, intentional, and unmistakably on-brand.


The Solution

We designed custom thumbnail images for each podcast, incorporating distinct branding elements to visually differentiate and elevate each Cloud show. This helped establish a consistent identity while celebrating the uniqueness of each series.

Alongside the visual updates, we reimagined the layout — modernizing the outdated Bootstrap template into a clean, responsive design that aligned with the needs of the Google Cloud ecosystem. The result was a refreshed, user-friendly experience that felt both familiar and forward-thinking.

The Impact

The refreshed design made it significantly easier for users to find the podcasts they were looking for — no more digging or dead ends. Clear organization and branded visuals helped guide users naturally to the content they needed, while a seamless experience boosted engagement and eliminated the disconnect between discovery and listening.
